The Fam Bam

Family is everything right?  Then these boys guys, right here?  They are my everything.

Meet Aaron and Parker (if you haven't already).

Aaron is my husband of 5 years.  We have been dating since we were 18 and have known each other since middle school.  If you had told me in 7th grade that I would marry him I might have thought you were crazy, although I would not have been disappointed.  I had a crush on him back then and the feelings were most definitely not mutual.  But he finally came around at the end of our senior year of high school and we officially began dating later that year.  Of course, I had gone to Orange County for college so the first year of our relationship was long distance, but we made it work.  After I realized this wasn't just a fling and the school year was over I decided to move back to Northern California.  I haven't looked back since.  Not everyday is sunshine but most days I do feel like the luckiest girl in the world.  While he may be sarcastic, quick witted and jokes often, he is also a great husband, a loving dad and does just about anything I ask of him.

Parker is our too fast growing, almost 2 year old son.  He gave us a run for our money in the beginning by refusing to eat, granting us an awful 4 day hospital experience when he was just 3 days old.  To say those were the worst 4 days of my life would be the understatement of the year.  It was not his fault, we were just at a subpar hospital (hindsight is 20/20) who misdiagnosed him more than once and really he just needed to learn to eat.  With a lot of patience and a little time he began eating like a champ.  Now, 21 months later he is an adorable, fun loving, temper tantrum throwing, pretend driving crazy toddler who I love to death.  Before I had him I was the perfect mom, now I'm just that mom, to this amazing little boy.

Although this is my immediate family and my everything, my extended family is pretty amazing too.  I probably don't tell them often enough how much I appreciate their support and love, so I'll say it here.  I love you all.  Thank you for always being their for me even when I don't think I need it.
