Land of Me

It's funny to think how much I have been putting off writing this post. I mean, shouldn't it be the easiest post to write?  It's all about me, and if anyone should know about me, it's ahem, me!  So here goes nothing.
I'm Loni, a twenty-something (I won't be changing that anytime soon regardless of my age) wife to Aaron and mother to Parker.  Aaron and I have been married for 5 years and Parker will be 2 in October.  Time flies when you're having fun!

I currently work full time in sales but it is by far not my dream job.  Actually I'd love to stay at home part time and work part time, that would be my honest dream job.  I earned my B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Advertising/Marketing but have yet to use it.  I graduated in 2008 almost 5 months pregnant with Parker and did not think job hopping at the time would be my best move.  I look forward to the time when I have a job in my preferred career field but right now my current job works with my schedule, is flexible and allows me to be there for Parker when needed, exactly what a working mom needs.

Some of my hobbies include cooking but I hate to do the dishes.  I love to read but rarely make the time to do it.  I love to travel but am afraid of flying (I don't let this stop me), and I love all things social media including blogging, facebook and twtter.

While this is technically a mommy blog (at its finest, wouldn't ya say??) it is also about my life in general, my joys, my sorrows and my craziness, all wrapped up for you in one sweet little Christmas present.  You're welcome!
